Launch of the Run Mummy Run Community Run Club in association with ASICS

Run Mummy Run, the leading online community for women runners of its kind, is going from strength to strength in 2021 with the latest news including the launch of its very own run club, Run Mummy Run Community Run Club (RMR CRC) in association with ASICS.

It’s been a strong year for Run Mummy Run with a huge increase in community members, and there has been a growing demand for Run Mummy Run’s own (online) affiliated running club. Run Mummy Run Community Run Club (RMR CRC) is now open for pre-registration and will be launching this spring.

RMR CRC gives women of all levels the opportunity to join a traditional-style running club wherever they are based and enjoy many of the benefits gained from being part of a running club, with the flexibility of training fitting around family, home and work life and lots of additional benefits.

In addition to offering help and support to women in reaching their training goals and to improve their running, the club will host in-house experts offering their expertise in a number of areas to enable the members to become stronger runners. The experts will cover all of the important aspects that surround running in terms of strength, nutrition, hydration and preventing injuries plus so much more.

The club will have its own England Athletics certified running coach who will keep all members running well throughout the year by offering weekly virtual club runs, and there will be regular club challenges to keep everyone motivated as well as monthly competitions and a range of discounts.

Go to the RMR CRC page on the website to see the details of the Membership Perks and to meet the Run Mummy Run CRC Experts.

RMR CRC membership costs £17.99 per year, with the option to upgrade to EA affiliation (an additional £16.50). The first 2,000 founding club members will receive a free technical Run Mummy Run/ASICS club vest (sizes subject to availability).

There will be a private RMR CRC Facebook group, exclusive club kit, and all the friendly, encouraging support that Run Mummy Run is known for.

Run Mummy Run was established in 2012 and brings women runners together to support and motivate each other, whilst actively promoting kindness, friendship, love, support, equality and unity as core values. The community now counts over 125,000 women of all ages, levels and backgrounds across its social media channels.

ASICS is a Family Partners of Run Mummy Run, supporting the community and helping keep it free for everyone.

Leanne Davies, Founder of Run Mummy Run, commented, “We are extremely proud and excited to launch RMR CRC. We have seen a growing demand for an online club over the years, and we have been working hard to create a club that fits in with the ethos and lifestyle of our community. We recognise that different runners have different needs and believe that this additional service for our members will only enhance our offering. In true RMR style, there will be all the love and warmth from the RMR team you would expect. The Run Mummy Run main community group and regional groups will continue to be the heart of Run Mummy Run, am I so grateful for the amazing ongoing support from everyone in the community.”

Rebecca Richardson, Co-Director of Run Mummy Run added, “Launching the Run Mummy Run Community Run Club in association with ASICS is exciting news for the community and everyone involved and we would like to express a huge thank you to ASICS for their support. The community is going from strength to strength, and we are grateful for the support from our Family Sponsors who contribute to keeping the community free for everyone.
